Paprec Spain takes another step forward in its expansion across the country with the integration of Valoritzacions Vilar Guillen (VVG), a Catalan company specialising in waste management and recovery.
This integration strengthens the Group’s paper and cardboard recycling capacity in a key strategic region and expands its industrial presence in Catalonia, alongside the activities already carried out by GBI Paprec and CLD.
The operation also reinforces Paprec’s commitment to a more efficient and sustainable waste management model.
About VVG:
Specialising in integrated waste management and recovery, VVG began operations at the end of 2013 with the opening of its 8,500 m² plant in Les Franqueses del Vallès. In 2017, the company carried out an expansion that doubled its capacity and enabled it to manage up to 115,000 tonnes annually.
In 2026, VVG will inaugurate a new plant in Sant Fost de Campsentelles, with 10,000 m² dedicated to the treatment and collection of industrial waste. With this expansion and more than a decade of technical expertise, VVG strengthens its operational capacity and commitment to delivering efficient solutions to today’s environmental challenges.
