The new contract for street cleaning, waste collection and the management of the Household Waste Recycling Centre in Cabra (Córdoba) came into operation on 1 June, marking the beginning of a new chapter for both the town and Paprec in Andalusia.
This contract includes the introduction of new machinery, technology, staff and investments that will help improve service efficiency and customer support for local residents.
One of the main new features is the opening of a customer service office, enabling residents to make enquiries, report issues and submit requests directly. The opening hours of the Household Waste Recycling Centre will also be significantly extended, increasing from 12 to 43 hours per week, with further investments planned for the facilities. To make recycling even more accessible, Paprec will roll out seven mini recycling points across different neighbourhoods of the municipality.
Through this contract, Paprec continues to strengthen its commitment to creating cleaner, more efficient and more sustainable environments, working alongside local authorities to help build a greener future.
