Palma de Mallorca, 3 August 2025 – After an intense week on the sparkling waters of Palma Bay, the Paprec Sailing Team secured an impressive third place in the 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey, one of the most prestigious high-level sailing events in the Mediterranean. Competing in the demanding TP52 circuit, the team demonstrated exemplary consistency against a highly competitive fleet.

With this new podium finish, Paprec confirms its excellent momentum this season, following its runner-up position at the Rolex TP52 World Championship held last July in Cascais. The King of Spain, a regular participant in this iconic regatta — and who finished in 6th place in this edition — personally congratulated the team on its outstanding performance.

An outstanding journey in the 52 Super Series
Competing in the 52 Super Series circuit for several years, the Paprec Sailing Team has shown continuous progress. In 2025, the team reached the top tier of the professional circuit, establishing itself as one of the most respected teams in the TP52 class.

This result at the Copa del Rey adds to an especially successful 2025 season, marked by a world championship podium finish, significant technical progress and growing recognition within the TP52 class.
