The chairman of Paprec Group, the French leader in recycling and a benchmark operator in integrated waste management across more than ten countries, has visited the province of Valencia. Mathieu Petithuguenin wanted to personally visit the areas affected by the DANA storms in the Valencian Community, accompanied by Jorge Blanco, Director General for Environmental Quality of the Generalitat Valenciana, Juan Martínez Caballero, Undersecretary of the Regional Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure and Territory, and our Regional Director, Jorge Tejedo.

We are extremely proud to be carrying out this service and contributing to the management and collection of the damage caused by this extreme weather phenomenon last October. This contract, which covers a period of six months with the option of a further six-month extension, represents a major challenge for us: managing the clean-up and removal of more than 200,000 tonnes of accumulated waste.

At Paprec, we reaffirm our commitment to the more than 40 municipalities affected last October, and we will work with dedication to restore and support the hardest-hit communities. We would also like to thank the Generalitat Valenciana for its trust, once again demonstrating that collaboration between institutions and companies is essential, especially in times of need.

Together, for a greener planet!
