CLD becomes part of GBI-PAPREC

Founded in 1930 as a workers’ cooperative, the company has been responsible for waste collection in the city of Barcelona since 1964.

Once again awarded one of the largest lots in the Barcelona city waste collection contract, it proposed an ultra-modern solution in its bid for collection and cleaning vehicles, which are now almost entirely electric. CLD also operates a fully automated packaging and SRF sorting centre north of Barcelona, an industrial waste plant in Torredembarra, as well as industrial waste contracts in Zaragoza and Lleida, among others.
